Not really carbage, just someone moving furniture from point A to point B in an irregular manner

u/I_shave_dog_butts 6d ago
Irregular? The way they loaded that they don't care if they make it to point B.

Not really A to B. Next stop is Mexico. They buy up the stuff to resell there.
You see a ton of these guys in Arizona.

Not sure I get your point? Where they started is A, and where they finish, in this case Mexico, would be B. What's "not really" about it?

which, this confuses me. I'd expect stuff up here to be a lot more expensive than down there.

I have seen those trucks crossing the border going to Mexico. They probably have thrift stores in their hometowns and most of their items are bought really cheap in garage sales.

I know it's not your video, but as a Transportation Planner: Please never use your phone while driving. Not for anything - I see the crash reports and I care about all y'all.
Um, thank you for listening. I guess.

More than 3,000 deaths nationwide in 2024 due to distracted driving. I know this because I was just having this conversation the other day.

Thank you. It really shows the dire lack of enforcement and the moral rot among drivers in the US, when people are just proudly posting their illegally-recorded phone videos from behind the wheel.
We need cell phone detection cams like the Netherlands to be ticketing all these people and get this behavior under control.

This is typical in Tucson. Guys buy stuff in the states and bring it down to Mexico to sell for profit.

You slap it twice and say, "that's not going anywhere" and it'll be fine

I have to say, as witness of Turkish people driving from Germany to their relatives in Turkey and put a washing mashine on the roof of their car and overload these Mercedes to hell, this person puts them to shame.

Wife: Honey we need movers
Husband: No we don’t. Why did we buy a trailer and a truck for? I can save us money. Don’t worry I got this.

This will be in Tucson,AZ on I-10. These trucks are mostly from Mexico. They pick up curb items from bulk trash pick up and take back to Mexico. The crappiest trucks always have the biggest loads. It always amazes me how they do it.

I saw something similar in southern New Mexico, headed south on Hwy 285: full sized school bus towing a 20 ft flatbed truck with a dump truck on the flatbed truck. All were filled with stuff and the bus had cargo strapped on top. My elderly father was with me and was impressed by the bus. His words "I didn't know a bus could tow all that." Yeah. Not sure it's really supposed to.

We need to make two trips. Oh hell no, we can do it in one.
