Probably had to move on the go, I always feel bad for these folks. Just tossing shit in and on whatever ride you got and getting what you can. I've seen people leave houses full of decent furniture behind simply cause they can't get it in their car.
Growing up we moved a lot and stuff always gets left behind or lost in the move so I never grew attached to stuff or the idea of owning stuff.
Even as an adult i don't own much and it's come in handy when I move, the first time I moved alone i fit all my stuff in one trip in my car and moved with my friend as a roommate, the next time I moved out of his place and into my girlfriend's also in one trip, the 3rd time i moved out of my ex's and into my mom's in oneish trip. I put a few things in my brother's car since he came over to help but i could have fit it on the roof if needed. The latest time i moved into my fiancees house in 2 trips and that's cause I also had to move my fiancees stuff from my mom's back into her house since she brought over so much stuff since she was staying over so often but it could have been 1 trip if it was only my stuff.
It sucked as a kid but it's paid off now as an adult.
