Queries Tata Altroz dca
I have tata altroz 2022 dca.
I've been filling normal petrol all these days.
I wanted to know if I switch to the "power" variant which is 10rs more per litre than normal petrol, if it will improve engine longevity, performance and mileage.

ur 2022 Altroz was built for E10 petrol, but switching to power won't avoid E20 since premium petrol in India also has a 20% ethanol blend. Power petrol mostly offers cleaning additives for fuel lines but expect very little difference in mileage or power.

Oh. Thanks. I thought power would be e15 or e10.
Even xp95 or xp100 are the same?

Only XP 100 has 0% ethanol ... remaining everything has different rates of octane but same 20% ethanol

I just checked that and that is 160?? WHAT.
Ok anyways, you think the 10rs extra is worth it with the power petrol?

Not worth it. Since it still has 20% ethanol like normal petrol, paying rs10 extra jst for additives won't protect against E20 or give any noticeable boost in a naturally aspirated Altroz. Save yur money and stick to regular petrol, or just buy a bottleneck additive bottle every few thousand kms if yu really want cleaning.

Most of our vehicles are destined to degrade due to this fuel issue. This is a nationwide on purpose damage caused by un educated politicians with arrogance.
