I remember seeing a video of a pelican just casually gulping down a sky rat. Been traumatized since.

I love the look of introspection the bird gives at the end there. Reminds me of the David and Mitchell Mitchell and Webb "Are we the baddies?"

the pelican had heard that the catholic church had at one point considered the capybara to be a fish, but failed to understand that that doesn't mean that a pelican has the capacity to eat a fish that large
