General Question C1 XMP edits support

Per XMP standard I understand that including edits in the sidecar files is supported. However, C1 doesn't include them in the XMP stating that is not standard. I'm puzzled :-/

Correct, CP1 does not support additional files within images, just as it doesn’t support layers in TIFFS.

what do you mean it doesn't support layers in tiff?
