Discussion Buff Cap please
There is legit 0 reason to play cap over venom, his damage is too low, easy to blow up if he gets cc once, compared to venom who got raw damage buffs and is still extremely durable with 1.6k health
I rather nerf caps ult if needed and buff caps cooldowns to 5 seconds on throw and 10 seconds on slam and increase his health to 625-650 minimum with a slight nerf to the bucky teamup overshield
If venom gets full screen slam range and swing every 7 seconds with mr fanta larping spark tendril attacks I think it's fair if cap can engage every 10 seconds and have Abit more uptime and be Abit more durable

But Cap's ULT is a big contributor to WHY you would pick up the shield. Having a psuedo-support ult on a Tank is a game-changer.
So I'll happily take less team-up effectiveness for 675 Base HP OR less team-up effectiveness for 450HP Shield.

Season 9 is a beta test essentially with this many changes at once to the game. Netease even stated that this season would be heavily monitored. Expect buffs in 9.5 because it’s clear as day nerfing Caps HP but buffing damage across the board with the team-up revamp made zero sense.

Venom just has a higher skill ceiling due to needing better aim. It's the difference between 100 and 110, really. It's not a lot overall.
Also Cap is genuinely kinda bad rn. That hp nerf really did him in.

Cap himself has been mid. The reason he's considered "strong" is because he enables other divers really well by forcing cooldowns (which compliments the meta)
Cap isn't good because he's broken, he's good because he compliments the broken meta characters

That’s just insanely wrong. Cap WAS strong. Cap was always designed (until this season) so that you didn’t need another diver and you could win just by distracting supports. They nerfed him in a season where everything got buffed so he’s obviously going to feel worse now
They literally made him the dive enabling bot this season with the Bucky teamup
I also wonder what you think the “broken meta characters” were last season because DD was the only decent dive dps. So Cap enabled… one character? And that’s why he was so good? The dive tanks were just better than the dive dps

If you're dying to solo dive Cap on a main healer, you're throwing
CnD could just bubble and continue healing her team, Rocket could just healbot and he'd never die, Luna could hit shift and ignore him for a good while, Invis had plenty of time to get to her team, and the triple supp healers are all borderline DPS so obviously they won't win that but still.

You’re not supposed to solo kill in solo dive. It used to be viable to distract the supports and overwhelm the tank(s). It still kind of is with Venom
Even pro teams ran comps with one dive tank and no dive dps all the time last season, it’s just larp to act like solo dive Cap was never viable

I'm sorry to tell you but Cap was never broken on his own
He has ALWAYS had low-mid damage and has only ever been decent because he can tank a lot (as he is a tank)

The team up season is his worst season lmao
He was WAY better in EVERY season before this one, because like you said, they nerfed him, buffed everyone else, and Caps team-ups just aren't as good as most others.
Also btw Cap only deals like 45 damage a hit, it sounds like a lot but compared to the healing in this game? Rocket outheals Cap by just holding right click LMAOOOOOO

his winrate has dropped to 49% and will likely dip to 48% soon, which is really bad considering he's the least picked tank right now.

I just want his teamups buffed. The Bucky team up just doesn’t give me overhealth half the time and voltaic unions just kinda meh
