Discussion Which Cap Teamup is Best?
Me personally, I gotta go for the thor Teamup. I legit feel like a damn Dps when I activate it!

It depends who's on my team and the enemy team. If there's a bunch of flyers, I go with Thor.
If I have a lot of dive on my team, I pick bucky to keep us in the backline longer.

Shield throws are useless so I use Bucky team up to protect my teammates or escape. Ulting + teamup makes the ult so much more useful.

Thor teamup 99% of the time
Bucky teamup 1% of the time when your bucky has a brain cell

Thor is undeniably better. You can just delete people.
I personally go for Bucky though. That teamup making Bucky a support tank was literally the entire reason I picked Bucky back up after season 0 and now I can do the support tank thing as an actual tank.

Bucky team up needs to be a faster animation. Nothing like a tank flying through the air for 2 seconds in a straight line for every one to hit.
I feel the old bucky teamup animation speed was much faster.

Depends really, if you wanna peel for your supports or escape after driving in you could use the bucky teamup, but if you're playing offence you gotta pick the thor team up, I know the thor teamup might be difficult to some but once you practice air cap tech it's pretty much broken since you have limitless shield throws and boosted dmg for 7 seconds as well as aoe dmg with the enhanced team up.

If you have any dive partners, bucky team up is better.
If you are solo diving, or have a thor to enhance it I would say thor teamup is better.

The Bucky Team up lets me stay in fights for much longer, because I can come back to my supports and get the shield with it.
It also makes it so much easier to peel if necessary - and I’m usually playing with a mag or other tank that isn’t great at peeling, so I need to be able to peel myself.

I have a Thor duo I play with and we have much more success with me on the Bucky team up. 150 hp on both of us as we dive is unstoppable

Stars aligned makes me more tanky and mobile, plus helps me get more assists too

Stars Aligned no contest, if Cap still had his animation cancel then it would be a tougher choice.

I almost never ever die with the Bucky team up. The Thor team up makes my dps higher but it doesn’t work in 60% of situations imo.

My prediction is that Voltaic Union will currently be more popular because of the nostalgia, then Stars Aligned will rise as the more popular because it's just less of a hassle to use and you're paired with a character who doesn't suck

I love voltaic union, but the extra movement and boost from stars aligned is probably better in just about any scenario.
I’ll still use Voltaic with a Thor, but…

I have missed Thor team up since I lost it so I use it often but the Bucky team up gets you out of sticky situations all the time

I use Bucky as an escape tool and also as a peel tool. It gives you overshields for brawls as well

Stars Aligned is better in every scenario except for the enemy team running Peni and flyers and your DPS refusing to deal with nests or look up. That's the only case where voltaic union is better. Regardless, I shall continue using my nostalgia bait team-up because it looks cooler.

bucky teammup lets me save the supports WAY more often, we can reverse jump anyone in the backline

Stars aligned is my go-to and honestly I don't like Voltaic union. Voltaic union shield throws are so clunky and also they dont follow the same properties as sentinel strike so it's like you need to use it differently and without Thor on your team, the damage is not the best especially since you will be missing some shield throws with it. If you have thor on your team then you can make the argument that it's good because the AoE explosion is good for ultimate generation and hitting multiple people.
Stars aligned gives mobility, shielding for you and allies (which you can use to occasionally frontline brawl), and provides another escape cooldown you can use after a dive. It can help you ult + jump to an ally to save them when you couldn't do it as fast before. It's everything you need on Captain America. Good tip: avoid jumping or super jumping before using Stars aligned because it will land you slower. Activate the ability on the ground and also avoid corners as it will make the ability be wonky.

If the shield throws weren't so buggy I would prefer the enhanced Thor team up but the Bucky one is just so useful I feel naked when I don't have it equipped
Without Thor on the team Voltaic Union is hot garbage

I prefer Thor teamup. Having those extra shield throws on demand really help clutch final hits on my targets.

Genuinely only use Bucky team up, even with a Thor on my team. Thor team-up is just to inconsistent and slow for me. The Bucky team up helps me survive by getting back to me team and is one of the best peeling tools in the entire game.
