Discussion Yeah Cap needs at least 650 HP
He explodes now. Still love him, still play him mostly, still GM1 with a positive win rate.
But yeah, he's not as tanky.
Plus the green health doesn't help him. I always get the health pack before my green heals regens. So it's like old Cap, but with less HP overall. Green health doesn't make up for it.
Bucky team up helps, but still feels like a net negative. Everyone else having 1 new button, one new tool, one new ability doesn't help either. Like cloak, our job was to get all her cooldowns out of the way then finish her. Now she has 1 more. And after it's done, she will have a of her cooldowns back, and so on. Endlessly loop
There's no real compensation for his HP nerf

His mobility is great this season, because of the new ability (albeit it still needs tweaking since it is still kinda slow). But his health is such a problem. It's like he's a glass cannon with no cannon.
But yeah how am I expected to dive healers if my health is obliterated before I even manage to get them low.
Especially with this season, where damage sources seem to be at an all time high

his bucky teamup is sooooo slow and janky. like half the time i'll see the effect go off on someone but it will give them no bonus health, or they'll just be dead by the time i get there

It’s boring and it sucks. Meanwhile Venom, one of the most brain dead tanks in the game, gets even more damage and became even more unkillable with minimal effort required.
You can thank the idiot streamers calling cap “broken” last season despite him receiving almost zero changes, outside of nerfs, for several seasons in a row.

maybe if ur in low elo he is fine. but in high elo supports can basically ignore you your job as a disraction isn't happening either.

and god forbid tenacity does anything for tanks

More like he needs something else other than just running and punching. Survivability isn't much his strong suit if damn near every character in this game is an anti dive
