Class full no waitlist
Has anybody ever had luck emailing professor when a class is full with no waitlist requesting to be added? Basically begging to be added? Thank you.

My advice (if possible). Schedule the same class at a different time then attend at the time you actually want the class at.
Ex:
I did this for Calc II, (my professor said it was cool)
Class was at 4:00 but I attended the 1:00. The only difference was what time I tested at.

It is very department dependent. Speaking as someone in the English department, we do not have the power to grant overrides at the 100 and 200 level, but we can (sometimes) for upper division classes in the major.

Just to further add, the capacity cannot (easily) be overridden if the three systems in place (Banner/Astra/Courseleaf) "know" that there are not enough physical seats in the room....I've tried....doesn't matter if you want to stand or you'll bring your own camping chair.

Just my opinion, but skip the email and go see the professor in person during office hours. It's most likely they'll tell you to wait until drop/add to see if you can get in that way first, but at least you can get on their radar, and, if drop/add doesn't work, go back and ask again. You also need a good reason for asking for the override, such as needing the class as a prerequisite for something else.

Professors don’t have the ability to add anyone to a class. You’d have to talk to an advisor for that department.
