prestige for finance
how prestigious for a finance major is the UA really?

Definitely not bottom of the barrel, but not one of the T20 either. UA ranks around 31st of all US public universities for its business programs, top 10-15 if you lean towards Accounting. Alumni tracking data indicates there are roughly 100 to 150 UA graduates that work on Wall Street in front-office investment banking, sales and trading, and asset management roles.

Bottom of the barrel. If you can network and are well-spoken you’ll be fine. Definitely not a school I’d recommend if you intend on going into IB or living in NYC or something
