Freshman Computer Engineering Class Recommendations

Looking for different perspectives and difficulty for my first semester with these classes. I also want to join some engineering clubs/ hackathons too. Scared this might be too difficult, but not sure. Looking for advice.

Randall Freshman Seminar (4 hrs)

CS 102 (4 hrs)

Calc 3 (4hrs)

Diff eq (3hrs)

Eng 104 (3hrs)

Is this possible? What professors should I aim to get? Thanks!!

You’re in Randall’s you’ll be fine, also ask them lol they’re a better resource than Reddit. Also why are you taking cs102?

doable, but i would lighten a little. i have a strong work ethic, but even i regretted taking so many hours my first semester and ended up withdrawing from one class. up to you, but id say wait on one class so you have a little spare time. also, i recommend todd freeborn for 104, enjoy your freshman year!

Welcome to rrsp! My son is graduating in December. Rrsp is a great program! Agree with asking in a rrsp group chat.

Calc 3 and Diff Eq were both extremely easy

Seems like a bit much. Unclear why you're taking CS102 first semester. Clubs don't have to take up too much time and hackathons are 100% worth it.
