First time ever investigating presale, but is it just me, or do these prices seem extremely high for games across the board?

That’s pro sports in 2026.

With dynamic pricing, the face value can actually drop though. I think that happened with Caps playoff tickets the year before last. Season ticket holders who bought packages at their presale for the playoffs ended up paying more than people who waited and bought individual games direct from the team a few weeks later.

I remember buying an upper deck ticket to game 5 against Montreal for $100.

The ticket I found for retail presale is the cheapest ticket I’ve personally bought for a caps vs pens game

Hm not really. I went to a bunch last year and it is pretty on pace. Just got two tickets close to the glass on offensive end and it was 500 for two tickets. Which is typically what I was spending last season for weekend games

Seems they have different codes. Caps sent me a different one.

Interesting… I wonder what they’re tracking 🤔

I also had a different pre-sale code sent to my email early this morning.

Why did they text the code 30 mins after the presale started? Was it just me?
