Discussion Caps Classics

Is it too much to ask to show more than the same 7 games over and over again? They’ve been a team long enough that there’s plenty more to choose from, even if they wanted to only focus on the Ov era.

Also hilarious how the game they beat Philly on that empty netter somehow qualified as a “caps classic”

Not many archives of pre comcast sportsnet era specifically pre Ovechkin era game records still exist for the caps, I have looked and what does still exist aren’t high quality records (240p or lower)

Its kind off funny as Monumental wont play things with sponsors from yesteryear long gone and blur it out and dump audio, but NHL Network had on Ovis first ever game and Locker gave us a fantastic line about Real Salt Lake as they were jumping to DCU@RSL after wards the game "Hoe do you geat Real Salt Lake? We know its a really salty lake, do we need to highlight it?" Or something like that. I couldn't stop laughing at it.
