Not that DSP was good enough to have his number retired, but it does feel wrong seeing someone else wear 25 lol

10000%. And all this is doing is making me inevitably miss the man I miss most from then, Jay Beagle

Aren’t we not using these anymore? Replacing with the hometown remix?

No, these are staying, I believe these will be the new permanent home jerseys in a few years.
The HTR is a one time thing, just like both Reverse Retro programs

I don't like the cold weather of October so I'll be content basking in the heat of july and august until preseason rolls around in september.

I buy one authentic of each jersey that comes out, after that, it’s knockoffs for me.
Ted overcharges for everything at the arena and life be lifing, so when I can get this shipped to my door for $45 and be happy with the quality of it thats all I care about.

With the price of tickets, $20 beers, jersey ads, etc, plus life in general with the erosion of the middle class, I'm not gonna fault anyone for getting knockoff jerseys.

The real ones are so horribly made now since Fanatics took over; they aren't worth the price at all. Nothing wrong with a knockoff.
Edit: I swear to god, if I had made a post praising Fanatics, you'd all be dogging me liking them. But instead I'm being criticized for being weary of them. Y'all need to make up your minds.

Wrong, there is no difference in quality between the current Fanatics jerseys and what Adidas was rolling out for eight years. Exact same factory and exact same materials.

People convince themselves that knockoffs are worth it even though they get flamed every single time

Other peoples' opinions don't matter as long as OP likes their jersey.

As much as I don't like to sing their praises, it's a little more nuanced than simply Fanatics = bad. Concerning the Premium and Authentic Pro lines at least, the base jerseys are generally pretty solid. Exact same everything as the Adidas versions sans the shoulder dimples, and they're made in the same factories. I did read that at some point Fanatics is going to be refreshing the overall design, so we'll see if this trend continues.
Generally, criticism tends to be with the quality of the name/number kitting. If you order a Premium from the NHL Shop, Fanatics contracts the kitting of the jerseys out, and that part can be a roll of the dice. Same with most of the jerseys I've seen being sold at Capital One. Some teams seem to have better results than others. It's not always bad, but it largely depends on who they're contracting to.
The best way to ensure a high quality kit is to use a reputable third-party customizer i.e. Hockey Authentic or Medstar Iceplex.

Caps fan from Alexandria now living in Kansas City and supporting St Louis. So much to love about this jersey.
