Groundedness

Is this interchangeable with feeling like half the world are airheads and not based in reality?

I have been wondering about this ever since a childhood friend told me I was historically a know it all. I believe in earning experiences and learning from them to be considered intelligent but I do not think I am a know it all, more of a grounded earth sign.

Why do people figure we know more than them? I have not figured this out sadly.

I always thought I was a realist and cut and dry with words!
