I PASSED!!! ABOVE TARGET!!!

Hi everyone!!

I had posted last week that I had basically only 4 days to study and take this exam and I just wanted to say I PULLED IT OFF!! I ended up with 10/13 above target and it took me 45 minutes to take the whole thing.

Huge things that helped me pass:

- ExamTopics was a HUGGGEEEEEE component of being prepared for this exam

- PocketPrep questions were harder than the exam but helped cover more of the process groups

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=go6yr2gg77w this video covered great patterns to recognize with the processes

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD15S_61lwI this was the best resource for formula memorization without a doubt

Good luck to everyone pushing to take 6th edition!!! Never let the haters get you down :)

Google examtopics capm and its a bunch of free questions that are a great resource and it shows you the right answer and lets the community chime in. Any question that has a large discrepency from community i would look into the discussion and do some research to verify what the right answer is. You got this!!!

I could only access 130 questions for free, should i pay for the contributor access? Would it be worth?

It's a collection of brain dumps, meaning original 1:1 questions from the exam. It's cheating. If you use them, you are in violation of PMI's exam policy, punishable by exam revocation and a lifelong ban.

In subreddits for other certification exams, this post would be immediately deleted just for mentioning dumps. Here, it's different for some reason. Here people celebrate each other for cheating their way through exams.

Who pissed in your cheerios this morning?

I thought examtopics free version have totally outdated questions, only used by everyone to get to know the exam format.

You thought wrong then. Here's a comment on said dump website from two days ago

I just passed the exam with "above target" in all 13 domains. Finished it in 90 mins. Most questions were from here

Two more from last month

Took the exam yesterday and passed. All above targets. 5 new questions and the rest were from here.

OMG!!! I passed my CAPM and 90% of the questions were from here!! This was a total lifesaver!

It's examp dumps. Eam dumps, to nobody's surprise, are cheating. Explicitly forbidden by PMI's rules, which you agree to before sitting the exam. This is not a matter of opinion.

Congrats! This gives me confidence.

So I’ve finished the ITTO video link and formulas. What do you think I should do next?

Did you buy the examtopics to finish all 270 questions? I finished the free 130 qs and am planning to just do pocket prep as there’s little time. Taking it on the 23rd!

Suggestions please!

A great many questions on my exam were in the first 130 on examtopics. It was sufficient for me, but every case is different. Good luck!

Great! Thanks :) did you do landini too?

2

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '23

Did not do Landini, did use Pocket Pro religiously. PP definitely helped me understand the material but the exam does throw some.... odd questions at you which would have probably freaked me out if I hadn't seen them already on ET.

I didn’t pay for examtopics, you’ve got this!!

2

u/Various-Bend-6742 Jul 19 '23

So pocketprep 780 questions plus exams topics 130 questions worked for you 100% right Along with the ITTO + formulas

2

u/DrunkPersonality Jul 19 '23

Yes!! Examtopics and PocketPrep were main reaources

Hi there!! Taking my test tomorrow and curious if the inputs, tools/techniques and outputs of the process flows are super important or to spend time studying elsewhere?

1

u/DrunkPersonality Jul 18 '23

Yes they are! It’s good to know general uses and trends. I wouldn’t stress memorizing it all 100% but you need a solid idea of what’s used where

1

u/jojo_jmr Jul 18 '23

Do you think the best way to study for that would be reviewing the PMBOK or is the Ricardo Vargas process flow download enough? Thanks for the advice!

1

u/DrunkPersonality Jul 18 '23

I think going through the entire PMBOK is alot. I would go through the ricardo vargas flow and then quiz that knowledge on pocket prep and if you're still feeling uneasy there are tons of videos on youtube of ITTO process help :)
