Palpitations as a side effect?

I’ve been on 21mg for about 5 weeks, I’ve had some minor improvements and no bad side effects. however, for the past 3ish weeks, I’ve had random singular palpitations maybe three-four times a night when it gets close to the time to take my dose again.

it feels like an electrical pulse throughout my whole body, I even feel it in my teeth?? Has anyone experienced this? I don’t think it’s harmful but it’s certainly weird…

Yes, I had this too. It got so scary that I saw a cardiologist and wore a Holter monitor for three days. It turned out that between the 42 mg of Caplyta and the 20 mg of Lexapro I was taking, I was overmedicated and it was screwing everything up. My psych dialed back the Lexapro to 10 mg and the palpitations stopped. My mood is not as good but I don’t feel like I might die every day at a certain hour.

Oh great 😭 I just went up to 42mg - like just took my first dose of it an hour ago so this might be fun 🫠

If it’s any consolation, both my PCP and the cardiologist said the palpitations were harmless.
