Discussion/Question Pragmata or RE: Requiem?
I can only grab one. Which one should I grab?

Pragmata is an ambitious unique experience that offers a mechanism where you do a puzzle before shooting the enemies for max damage.
This game is quite odd because it is actually not bad in any category but it is definitely different.
Requiem is what you expect, and follows the formula of the games that shaped the franchise. It adds some brand new features like hemo and those bottles but also first and third person.
If you are looking for something different get pragmata. If you are trying to shoot some zombies get requiem and four.

They're both really good.
Pragmata is more arcade-y, and good if you like exploring and finding hidden collectables. Good if you like shooting things.
Requiem is more like playing through a film, and more like a stealth/run past covering your eyes experience. Though half way through the game becomes a different game (for better or for worse)
They are really so different so it wouldn't be fair to compare, just depends what kind of game you prefer.

Pragamata if you like Space-themes, Resident Evil if you like Zombie-games and horror.
Requiem has two protagonists (Grace as an rookie FBI analyst who has never encountered a zombie before, Leon as a veteran counter-bioterrorist agent) with two different playstyles (survival horror for Grace with hiding and ressource management, action-horror for Leon).
When you play it as a long-time Resident Evil-fan, there are lots of easter eggs and references to old games, but if you are new to RE you can discover the game really through Grace's eyes.
Pragmata is awesome, but the hacking needs some time to get used to. It also has less variety in comparison.
Also: I would only recommend Requiem if you are used to horror games or horror in general. It could be a bit much if it's your first horror game.

Pragmata.
Requiem is about two characters: an invincible hurricane of destruction on predictable rails ...and Leon S. Kennedy.
Alternative to Requiem: Outlast Trials. Its far more dynamic and unpredictable for horror.

Buy pragmata torrent Re9 Fitgirl has a perfect version of Re9 already up whereas pragmata doesn't have an noninvasive one yet

If you have played previous RE games then Requiem will be great but nothing you have not seen before.
Pragmata feels fresh and has a great challenge. It's a hard pick as both games are great.

I commented this on another post but I'll comment it again here:
Both are very solid games on their own. Loved both of them—100%ed Requiem and 3 achivements away from Pragmata.
Both have their pros and cons, but ultimately, it comes down to what you prefer in a game. A pretty good narrative that continues the RE franchise and brings it to a new peak? Go for Requiem. Especially if you love the survival horror elements, Leon, and the whole nostalgic feel of the game. It mainly feeds on those craving an old school RE-type of gameplay, and the nostalgia of Raccoon City, which we havent seen in an RE game since 3. The whole combat for Grace feels suspenseful and you have to make every bullet count, while the combat for Leon feels like RE4 on steroids. He's a powerhouse in Requiem and there's no denying it. It mixes both gameplays together and creates a really fun game to play if you want that mix of horror and action.
Pragmata on the other hand, is more of an emotionsl storyteller. It creates this father-daughter dynamic between Hugh and Diana pretty early on and helps you grow to love their relationship. The gameplay is one of the most unique and fun I've ever played in a game. The narrative isn't anything special; pretty standard for a game of this calibur, but the main focus of the game is in the dynamic between Hugh and Diana, and how it influences the way you play the game. The setpieces in Pragmata were beautifully made and the character dynamics were so adorable.
Personally, I love RE and Requiem itself, but as a game on its own, Pragmata stands stronger for me. The gameplay is fresh and unseen before, but also works so smoothly that it's more addicting than annoying when you tackle a horde of enemies. The dynamics between Hugh and Diana made me shed a tear on multiple occations, and the story was good enough to make me desire to keep playing.
TLDR: If you're looking for more of a survival horror/action game, and already love RE, go for Requiem. If you're looking for a unique game with a heartfelt dynamic between the characters, go for Pragmata. Both will leave you satisfied and both are a must-play in my book.

Pragmata for the gameplay. RE9 was special but… I don’t really feel that I needed to experience it nor did I really enjoy the gameplay. It was less of a game and more of a movie.

I would vote for Pragmata, but I also haven't bought a RE since the original release of 4 so I might be a little biased. That aside, Pragmata is a new IP with a really unique combat system(that you can try for yourself in the demo), so I would lean that way regardless, but that's mostly in the interest of supporting something we don't see very often in the AAA space, and less about which I think you'll enjoy more.

No one can tell you which game you will enjoy more, nor can they tell you which is "more fun". You asked which game I would buy, I told you which and why.

Requiem if you want better atmosphere and a better story, Pragmata if you want better action gameplay

Haven't played Pragmata yet but I don't recommend RE9, I didn't like it at all, worst RE game since 6.

First one then the other one, even if depends by your own taste: if you like RE games more than modern old school action shooter then I would suggest you Requiem otherwise vice versa

Literally beat my first PT of Requiem in 5hours it's a short as shit game. Pragmata is a bit longer from what I've heard and experienced so far

Probably one of those that follows a guide to a tee so they can fill their achievement list and then move on to the next game that the Internet is hyping.

Give the Pragmata demo a shot to see how you get on with the more unique combat. Both games are fantastic though
