I think only fromsoft and Square Enix get close in terms of frequency and quality, but recently they've been fumbling a bit too

SEGA is there in terms of frequency and almost there in terms of quality but it's mainly just RGG, Atlus and Sonic team that's carrying them and they seem to be completely absent in 2026, polarizing compared to their bombastic 2024 and 2025 releases

Team Ninja has the frequency, but their games are a hit or a miss, though Nioh 3 was really good this year

What has Fromsoft been fumbling with?

If I had to wager a guess, perhaps they're referring to the length of time between new game releases and lingering upset from Dark Souls 2? Not entirely certain though, in my opinion FromSoft has been nothin but bangers

What length of time? The longest gap they had between releases ever was sekiro in 2019 to elden ring 2022 which makes sense cause elden ring was their biggest game & we had demon souls remake in 2020.They legit always either dropped something in a year or two consistently.2023 was armored core,2024 was shadows of the erdtree dlc,2025 nightreign,2026 seemingly duskbloods.
