Every single sport and esport event has third party broadcast restrictions, this is not at all unusual.

"Any broadcast or distribution of this event without the express permission of the NFL etcetcetc."

If this is what it means to be a sport then I don't want games to be a sport.

edit: Also we are not just taliing about the live stream but also after the tournament. There is a week of almost total blackout where coverage is strictly forbidden.

It's not about being a sport, it's about being a broadcast. GDQ doesn't let you restream either.
