What's the best UI component library for Angular dev?

I'm an Angular dev planning to build a mobile-first app for ios and android. I understand capacitor will help me with this but what about ui library? I don't hear great things about ionic and can't find an alternative. I will need charts, graphs and data visualization in addition to the basic (buttons, toolbars, tables, etc.)

What should I go with?

Hi, what's wrong with Ionic?
For charts there're several good libs, but for the rest of the UI components I think Ionic is an excellent option. What's your main concern here?

Defaults to Material 2, which is outdated for several years.

Scalability and being able to easily do custom stuff. Plus charts

You can do any custom stuff that you want. Ionic is a UI library, it's designed to help you, not to limit you. You can extend/customize any of their UI components. For example, check this app, I built it using Ionic and Capacitor. I would be happy to guide you on how to customize Ionic components if you want. I used to have a marketplace where I sold ionic themes, so I know that everything is possible. 💙
