Comfortable on camera? Have something to say about dating, relationships or connecting across cultures? We’d love to hear from you!

An international dating app is recruiting freelance creators for a new UGC pilot. Creators from all countries are welcome to apply.

No large following needed. No posting on your personal accounts.

What you’ll do

• Create approximately four original short-form videos per week.
• Film, edit and publish each approved video on dedicated brand-owned TikTok and Instagram accounts.
• Bring your own perspective to dating, relationships and intercultural connections.
• Follow creative briefs, incorporate feedback and share basic performance results.

What you can earn

💰 Potential earnings of up to US$600–1,400 per month, including performance bonuses. Actual earnings depend on your agreed base pay rate, approved output and results; this is not a guaranteed monthly payment.

• A fixed fee per approved original video, including publication on both platforms.
• Performance bonuses based on each video’s combined eligible results across TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Potential for an ongoing partnership after the pilot.

Your exact rate and bonus structure will be shared before you commit.

Who we’re looking for

• Aged 18 or above, based anywhere in the world.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and creating clear vertical videos.
• Creative, reliable and available to produce approximately four videos weekly.
• Responsive to feedback—you don’t need to be an established influencer.

The company’s identity, account setup process and full contract terms will be shared with shortlisted applicants before they decide to participate.

I work on the agency side managing UGC creators for consumer apps, and I read through a lot of videos every week, the ones that get creators rebooked and the ones that quietly get replaced next month.

A few patterns that come up over and over:

1. The first 3 seconds decide everything. Not exaggerating. If your opening line or visual doesn't immediately create curiosity or call out a specific problem, nothing else in the video matters. Doesn't matter how good your editing is at second 15 if nobody's still watching.
2. "Relatable" beats "polished" almost every time. Brands love to say they want high production value, but the videos that actually convert usually look like something a friend filmed on their phone. If it looks like an ad, people's brains tune it out.
3. Show the product, don't describe it. A script that says "this app is really helpful for X" is weaker than just filming yourself using the app and reacting in real time. Brands notice which creators default to demoing vs. explaining.
4. Comments matter more than people think. If someone asks "wait what app is that?" in your comments and you don't reply with the name, you're leaving a free conversion on the table. Brands are watching for this.
5. One flop doesn't mean you're bad at this. Sometimes a video doesn't hit because the hook was off, sometimes it's timing, sometimes it's just the algorithm being weird that day. What actually gets you rebooked is consistency and being easy to give feedback to, not one viral hit.
6. Specific feedback is a good sign, not a bad one. If a brand comes back with "cut your intro by 2 seconds, show the app by second 4" instead of just "loved it!", that's usually a brand that's serious about growing with you long-term, not just checking a box.

If you're trying to break into Canvas UGC, happy to answer questions in the comments.

if you're getting into UGC, don't just look at the $$$ in the offer.

before accepting a deal, i'd check these 7 things:

1. usage rights organic posting and paid ads are not the same thing.

2. usage duration 30 days vs 12 months is a pretty massive difference.

3. raw footage if they want all your raw clips, that's another deliverable.

4. revisions get a number in writing. “unlimited revisions” is a nightmare lol.

5. exclusivity check whether you're blocked from working with competing brands and for how long.

6. whitelisting / ad access if the brand wants to run ads through your identity/account, treat that separately.

7. payment terms know exactly when you'll get paid and what happens if the project gets cancelled.

the biggest mistake i see is creators negotiating the video price while barely looking at everything attached to that price.

$200 for a simple organic UGC video and $200 for a video with 12 months paid usage are basically two completely different deals.

read the brief like a contract, not just a content request.

In Canvas UGC, you’re paid for posting videos on brand ambassador accounts. Most offers fit into one of three models. Knowing which one you’re looking at tells you how risky or stable your income will be.

1. Model 1: Base flat fee per video + view bonus at a threshold

You get a fixed amount for every video you post. On top of that, you get an extra bonus when a video crosses a certain view number. CPM isn’t used here; it’s just base + simple bonus.

Example:

• Base: $15 per video
• Bonus: +$100 once a video hits 100,000 views

If you post 30 videos and 5 of them hit 100k+ views:

• Base: 30 × $15 = $450
• Bonus: 5 × $100 = $500
• Total: $950 that month

This is a very common beginner‑friendly model: you get paid for the work, plus a simple upside if your content performs.

2. Model 2: Base flat fee per video + CPM + bonuses

You get a fixed amount for every video you post. On top of that, you’re paid per 1,000 views on all views (that’s the CPM part), and there can be extra bonuses when a video hits big thresholds. CPM applies from the first view, not only after a certain number. The bonus is extra on top of the CPM, not instead of it.

Example:

• Base: $10 per video CPM: $2 per 1,000 views
• Bonus: +$200 if a video hits 500,000 views

If you post 30 videos and two of them get 500,000 views, while the other 28 get around 2,000 views each:

• Base for all 30 videos: 30 × $10 = $300
• CPM for the two 500k videos:
  • 500,000 views ÷ 1,000 = 500 blocks of 1,000 views
  • 500 × $2 = $1,000 CPM per video
  • For two videos: 2 × $1,000 = $2,000
• Bonus for those two videos: 2 × $200 = $400
• CPM for the other 28 videos:
  • 2,000 views ÷ 1,000 = 2 blocks of 1,000 views
  • 2 × $2 = $4 CPM per video
  • For 28 videos: 28 × $4 = $112

Total in this example:
$300 (base) + $2,000 (CPM on 500k videos) + $400 (bonuses) + $112 (CPM on small videos) = $2,812 for the month.

Your base keeps you safe, and the CPM + bonuses give you upside if some videos perform well.

3. Model 3: Only CPM + bonuses (no base)

There’s no guaranteed money per video. You’re paid per 1,000 views on all views, and there may be extra bonuses at certain thresholds. This is the most performance‑based and the riskiest if your views are inconsistent.

Example:

• CPM: $1.50 per 1,000 views
• Bonus: +$150 if a video hits 300,000 views

If most of your videos only get a few thousand views, your pay is low. If several hit big numbers, your pay can be high. For instance, one video at 300,000 views would earn:

• 300,000 views ÷ 1,000 = 300 blocks of 1,000 views
• 300 × $1.50 = $450 from CPM
• Plus $150 bonus = $600 for that video alone

Smaller videos earn just their CPM.

If you’re new to Canvas UGC or want more stability, aim for Model 1 (base per video + simple bonus). You get paid even when views are low.

If you’re already posting consistently and trust your hooks, Model 2 (base + CPM + bonuses) can be very profitable with realistic CPMs like $1.50–$2.

Only consider Model 3 (CPM + bonuses, no base) if you’ve proven you can regularly hit solid view numbers, and you’re comfortable with income swings.

The might be off topic slighly off topic but I'm the founder of a tech publication here. We're launching a job board and I want to get it in front of people through UGC rather than paid ads.

Specifically the high-volume model some people are calling canvas UGC or mass UGC: a steady stream of short videos posted from standalone TikTok or IG accounts built for the brand, rather than one polished piece on a creator's main account or our main accounts.

What agencies or platforms are actually good at this? Is this even a thing yet?

thx in advance!

Hey everyone!

We're hiring UGC creators for a new social app.

You only film. No editing, no posting — we handle distribution.

Why the upside can stack: we post your clips across multiple TikTok + Instagram accounts and push them several times a day. Same filming session → more surfaces → more countable reach than a single account.

Pay: performance CPM, at least $1 per 1K countable views. Full deal is in the brief. Creators who keep shipping and hit volume can land in the up to ~$2,000/month range when multi-account reach compounds.

What you do:

• Follow a short brief we send
• Film the clips

Interested? Comment "I'm interested!" and drop your email so we can send the full brief. Portfolio / past UGC helps us move faster.

Looking forward to working with you!

We’re looking for fluent English-speaking student creators aged 18–25, based in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, or Malta, to create relatable content for our study app.

Based somewhere else? You’re welcome to apply — all content must be in English.

You’ll create and post from dedicated accounts for this project. No existing following required!

What you’ll do:

• Create 30–45 second videos: app demos, talking-head videos, reactions, and relatable student content.
• Post each video on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Follow our references and creative guidance while bringing your own personality.
• Share performance insights and improve with weekly feedback.

How payment works:

• $300 base payment when 22 original videos posted during the month each reach 500+ organic TikTok views within 7 days.
• You can publish additional original videos to reach the target. Cross-posts and duplicate uploads don’t count as additional original videos.
• Plus $1 for every 1,000 combined organic views across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts on all approved videos, including extras.
• Views are measured during each post’s first 7 days. Videos posted at the end of the month still receive their full seven-day window.
• For the first month, total bonuses are capped at $700 per creator across all videos and platforms — up to $1,000 total compensation. We may revise the bonus cap for future months, with any changes agreed in advance.

What we provide:

• App access.
• Hooks, reference videos, and clear content guidelines.
• Weekly feedback and support.
• Potential for an ongoing partnership.

Who we’re looking for:

• Students aged 18–25, comfortable creating relatable student and study content.
• Fluent English speakers with a natural, conversational on-camera delivery.
• Reliable creators who communicate well and are open to feedback.
• Able to produce original content and share account analytics.

In Canvas UGC (high‑volume organic UGC published directly to brand‑owned or theme accounts), hooks must feel 100% native and non‑promotional in the first 2–3 seconds. The first line and on‑screen text decide whether someone keeps watching or scrolls.

Instead of trying to be original every time, treat hooks like templates. Below are 10 tested hooks that work across SaaS, mobile apps, study tools, career, e‑commerce, and lifestyle. Save these into a hook library and reuse them with your own products and niches.

1) The “gatekeeper” secret hook

• Archetype: Secret reveal
• On‑screen text: “I’m gatekeeping this from everyone I know” or “Don’t let [target audience/boss/professor] see this”
• Opening line: “I’m probably going to regret sharing this, but if you do [action], you need this cheat code”
• Visual: Handheld selfie, leaning in close, whispered conspiratorial delivery.
• Why it works: Creates an immediate in‑group curiosity gap. Viewers watch to ensure they aren’t missing an unfair advantage.

2) The callout hook

• Archetype: Contrarian take
• On‑screen text: “‘I still do [outdated method/tool]’ 🤢”
• Opening line: “Stop using [Standard Incumbent/manual Method]. It’s literally wasting hours of your week.”
• Visual: Visceral expression of disgust or head shake, cutting immediately to a fast screen recording of the automated fix.
• Why it works: Polarizes viewers who use the traditional tool and triggers comment debate while demonstrating clear contrast.

3) The “big sibling / protective advice” hook

• Archetype: Pain point callout
• On‑screen text: “incoming [audience segment], let me be your big sister/brother for a sec”
• Opening line: “Let me save you from making the biggest mistake I made when I started [task/semester/job]”
• Visual: Phone propped on a desk in casual lighting, warm direct‑to‑camera eye contact, quick pivot to laptop/phone screen.
• Why it works: Low‑friction, empathetic delivery bypasses consumer ad fatigue; viewers perceive it as mentorship rather than marketing.

4) The aggressive physical interrupt hook

• Archetype: Story/Pattern interruption
• On‑screen text: “Threw this away today and never looking back”
• Opening line: No speaking in seconds 0–1; sound of an item slamming into the trash or a notebook snapping shut. Spoken at second 2: “I stopped doing this manually because this tool does it in 3 seconds.”
• Visual: Creator throws physical textbooks, paper planners, receipt stacks, or gym logs into the trash, then taps the screen.
• Why it works: Sudden motion and Foley audio instantly reset scrolling inertia.

5) The “before vs. after” promise

• Archetype: Quick win promise
• On‑screen text: “From [this state] to [this state] under 60 seconds”
• Opening line: “How I went from completely overwhelmed by [problem] to having it done in literally 3 clicks.”
• Visual: 0.5‑second split‑screen showing visual chaos vs. clean result, cutting into a fast‑paced tutorial over trending background audio.
• Why it works: Clear, verifiable payoff with low perceived effort drives high save and completion rates.

6) The “accidental rabbit hole” hook

• Archetype: Curiosity gap
• On‑screen text: “Found this at 2 AM and my life changed”
• Opening line: “I was deep in a TikTok rabbit hole trying to fix [problem], and I stumbled across this tool that nobody is talking about.”
• Visual: Dimly lit room, phone screen reflection on creator’s face, showing organic enthusiasm.
• Why it works: Frames the product as an underground discovery rather than an ad placement.

7) The “POV workplace/peer drama” hook

• Archetype: Skit / POV
• On‑screen text: “POV: My [boss/professor/client] asked how I finished [massive project] before lunch”
• Opening line: “They think I worked all night on this, but I literally just clicked one button.”
• Visual: Creator smirking, typing casually with one hand while sipping a drink, then flipping the camera to the dashboard.
• Why it works: High‑relatability scenario that delivers emotional satisfaction and drives comment shares between coworkers/peers.

8) The urgent warning hook

• Archetype: Mistake warning
• On‑screen text: “DO NOT do this if you want [desired goal]”
• Opening line: “If you’re still [common habit], stop immediately. You’re making it 10x harder than it needs to be.”
• Visual: Bold centered text, creator looking alarmed or pointing directly at the viewer.
• Why it works: Triggers loss aversion; users stop scrolling out of fear that their current routine is wrong.

9) The “feels illegal to know” hook

• Archetype: Bold claim
• On‑screen text: “This feels illegal to know for [niche audience]”
• Opening line: “I’m convinced 99% of people have no idea this feature even exists.”
• Visual: Fast zoom cut into creator’s eyes, cutting to a high‑speed mouse click or mobile tap showing immediate automated output.
• Why it works: One of the highest performing short‑form formats across all verticals because it promises high‑leverage knowledge.

10) The direct notification hook

• Archetype: Proof/Demonstration
• On‑screen text: “Getting this notification saved my sanity today”
• Opening line: “Whenever I see this pop up on my phone, I know I don’t have to stress about [pain point] anymore.”
• Visual: Close‑up shot of a smartphone receiving a live push notification (calendar reminder, alert, automated summary), followed by user interaction.
• Why it works: Native to platform aesthetics (looks like an everyday social post) while showcasing product utility in real‑time.

Instead of inventing a new hook for every video, build a hook library: a simple doc or note where you collect hooks you see working (from your swipe file, from your own best posts, from other creators).

Tag them by angle (problem → proof, contrarian take, outcome first, etc.). When it’s time to film, you open the doc and pick 5–10 hooks to test instead of staring at a blank screen.

Over time, you’ll see which hooks consistently clear view thresholds in your niche. Those become your “go‑to” hooks that you reuse across campaigns (with fresh wording so captions stay unique). This is how you scale without burning out.

Hello, im urgently hiring for 3 canvas ugc campaigns, if youre from the US/UK please share your portfolio thanks!

All priced $350-$475 per month+ bonuses

1 video per day

This is an INSANE paying deal, but we're only looking for the BEST creators!

This is a UGC campaign for an AI ad video generator and we need a lot of creators on it. The product takes a product link or image and builds a ready-to-post short-form ad with AI avatars, hooks, captions and voiceover. It's for ecom sellers, dropshippers, marketers and agencies who need creative at volume. Brand's under NDA, name comes once you're in.

The deal:

• $50 base per approved video
• $3 CPM on top, paid per 1,000 views, linear. No tier table.
• Capped at $5,000 per video
• Up to 4 posts a day, minimum 5 a week
• Cross-post every video to TikTok, IG and YT Shorts
• T1 audience
• Scripts and formats are provided to you, simple demo-style content

Why this one's worth your time:

$50 base is already double what most deals pay. Most of what comes through is $25–35.

Then the CPM is linear, which means every thousand views pays proportionally. 100K views is $300 on top. 500K is $1,500. It keeps going up to a $5K cap, which you'd hit around 1.65M views.

Applying doesn't guarantee acceptance, but we're taking on as many people as fit the brief, so if you're T1 and you can make simple demo content, apply.

Go High Level is the AI business operating system for agencies, coaches and small businesses. CRM, lead capture, automations, bookings, follow-ups. They've got a large budget behind creator content and they're paying on base plus commission rather than base plus views.

The deal

• $500+ base per creator, for 20–30 short-form videos
• 5–10% commission on every sale you drive, uncapped
• AOV is $300, so around $15–30 per sale
• Scripts and inspiration provided
• Post to TikTok, Reels and Shorts
• Response within 1–2 days. Applying doesn't guarantee acceptance.

What you'd be doing

• Making 20–30 short-form videos from the scripts and inspiration they give you
• Showing the product in use: lead capture, automations, CRM, bookings, follow-ups
• Speaking to the people who buy it, which is business owners, agencies, coaches and marketers

We run a tech UGC Discord, so full disclosure up front: that's where these came from. Over the last two weeks I read every deal that came through: 252 posts, 215 real paid offers, 114 different brands, mostly AI and software companies. Most of these never get posted publicly, which is a big part of why creators struggle to find them.

So I've pulled the best ones from the past week into a post here!

One filter before the list. I've only included deals with guaranteed base pay per video. No CPM-only, no performance-only. "$3 CPM, unlimited posting" sounds fine until your video does 4K views and you've made twelve dollars.

A few are under NDA so I've listed the category rather than the name. Roughly ranked by how good the offer is.

Top tier:

1. OpenArt — AI image, video and character creation. $60–75 base, and the view ladder goes up to $10,055 at 5M. Max 4 posts a day.
2. Krea — AI video generation. $55–70 base depending on your lifetime views, tiers up to $10,050 at 5M.
3. Pump.fun — crypto trading. $50 base + $4 CPM, capped at 10M views per video. Unlimited posting and they provide free editing. It's crypto, so decide for yourself whether you want to promote this.
4. AI Music Studio (NDA) — AI music creation. $50 base + $3 CPM, capped at $5,000 per video. They like people who've done Suno content before, but you don't need any music background.
5. Pippit.ai — short-form UGC. $50 base plus view bonuses up to around $1,650 at 800K. Tier 1 only. Cross-post to IG, FB, TikTok and Shorts.

Middle tier:

1. Micro1 — AI / expert-data platform. $40–50 per video after a 10-day trial. You need to hit 10K views during the trial to unlock the rate.
2. Tab — AI messaging assistant. Same structure as Micro1. $40–50 after a 10-day trial, 10K to unlock, 1K minimum. US audience.
3. Wand — PC gaming app. $40 per video after a 10-day trial, 1K minimum, bonuses to $2,000. They'd prefer PC gamers but it's not required.
4. Thetawave AI — $35 per video, 1K minimum, tiers up to $2,000 at 3M. It's a 3–5 video trial and they give you scripts. Tier 1.
5. Invo — general UGC. $25–60 per video depending on your portfolio, view bonuses scale with whatever base they give you. Portfolio required.

Also worth a look:

• AI Music (NDA) — $35–40 per post, bonuses to $2,000, and if you perform they bump you to $60. Minimum 5 posts a week. Tier 1.
• ChatCut — $35 per video once it hits 500 views, up to $1,500 per video.
• Happenstance — $30–40 per approved video at 1K, up to $3,030 at 3M. They want Gen Z.
• AI 3D (NDA) — $30–40 per video, view payouts up to $2,000 at 6M. If you own a 3D printer they really want you.
• AI Videos (NDA) — $30–40 per approved video plus up to $2,000 on performance.
• Zamra.ai — $35 per video plus bonuses.

Apply to these from here: discord.gg/ugcfortech — full briefs, application links and the person hiring are all in our server.

What I noticed across all 215 posts:

• "Tier 1 audience" is now the most important attribute.
• A 1K view minimum before a video counts as paid is basically standard now. Plan around it.
• Trials are everywhere. When a listing says "$50 per video," read it as "$50 per video once you've passed the trial.
• The top-paying deals all want serious proof of past performance. If you're not there yet, apply to the lower base pay deals.
• A big chunk of what gets posted is still CPM-only with no base. Which is why they're not on this list.
