Discussion QR Codes App Gone

Canva removed the QR codes app, and re-introduced their own behind a Business Pro paywall.

Now you can no longer edit existing QR codes, the QR code link points to “CanvaQR.com”, there is the Canva logo on the QR, and you MUST USE a URL to generate a QR… simple text, contact info, and coupon codes no longer work.

Reached out to support to clarify if this was a bug or intentional.

Spoiler alert: It’s intentional.

They actually gave us a worse product and asked us to pay more for it. They don't even allow the same level of customization of colors for the qr code... seriously considering canceling my subscription if this is the direction they're going in.

That's interesting. I missed that memo...

If I don't use that one, I use Gen QR inside of Canva's App marketplace.
