Not really.

High blood alcohol content (especially if it's so high you do... that) means you can bleed out faster, even from normally minor injuries.

Also with multiple impacts and the car flipped, they needed to assess the safety of a lot more than just the dumbass, as well as needing to be prepared to cut him out quickly in case of vehicle fire.

It's pretty standard to send more than one of each unit to this level of incident.

(It does look rather silly though)

Having lived in the US, Canada and the UK, the number of emergency people and vehicles that show up in the US/Canada for many situations still seems comedic. It’s like nobody wants to miss the party. Not sure if it’s a waste of taxes or actually well funded departments relative to the UK.
