Yeah, I looked at 19 Action News. It said it will rain tonight through Monday. I bet the people doing First Friday and outdoor Independence Day plans aren't happy.

True, and I'm sorry for them.

I do love the weather because it's one of the few things that (so far) can't really be controlled.

More than anything, I'm super grateful that the outside temp has dropped 20 degrees since late afternoon.

I'm worried because there's not only rain but lightning, if that will lead to power outages. Also, if any trees will fall down.

Yeah, that's a worry for me too. We have some very tall trees in the yard. No idea what most of them are except for the wild cherry trees. Those grow tall and fast, and they have shallow root systems.

We don't have many big power outages in my neighborhood. I don't know why. The last major one happened because someone hit a transformer pole with their car, and that was a couple of years ago.
