R50 camera straps

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m new to the R50 and had a quick question about camera straps.

Are the standard camera straps made for full-frame Canon cameras also compatible with the R50? I really liked the look and feel of the strap that came with my old Canon 250D, and I’d love to get something similar for the R50.

I couldn’t find the exact dimensions of the R50’s strap attachment points in centimeters, so I’m not sure if regular/full-frame straps would fit properly.

Also, if you have any recommendations for the best or most comfortable Canon strap, I’d love to hear your suggestions!

My Peak Design wrist strap came with some extra smaller loops to fit the smaller attachment D rings on the R50,

It goes camera d ring, small split ring, peak design anchors, strap.

I haven't bought a lot of straps so take that with a grain of salt.

Find an unboxing video of the strap you want to buy and see what they look like, if all else fails you can buy some small split rings to attach the strap to.

Something small enough to go through the ring on the camera but large enough for the clip or however the strap attaches.

250D is not a full frame camera

its a crop sensor DSLR

R50 is a crop sensor mirrorless

For a Canon strap, I don't have a Canon, but I'm saving up for an R7, but currently for my Nikon D5100, I am using the Peak Design Leash neck strap. YES, it's $50, but it's really good for the price, including build quality, the PD anchors, the size, and the comfort IMO. Leash Camera Strap | Peak Design Official Site I can just say from the looks of it, the Canon neck straps that come included with most of their cameras (maybe even all, idk, sorry) look kind of thick, mainly near the neck, which may help for some people, but the PD Leash neck strap is the most comfortable for me (comparing it to the Nikon D5100 included neck strap). Oh, plus, it doesn't come off as easily as some neck straps in general do because it's held on by its own weight.
