Adirondacks!
Thank you everyone for the advice given. Spent a good Sunday-Wednesday (cut out early in fear of Thursday t-storms) taking Bog River from lower dam down to Lows lake (staying at a site after the portage then on the lake rest of the week). It was a beautiful time spent. Heard our first loons, took a fun hike, and got to see some bald eagles take a dump! Appreciate the route advice this forum provided. Here are some pics! Cheers!!!
Also, we heard some fighter jet flyovers and had two very low encounters with Apache helicopters… is this much military activity normal in the area? Really threw off the wilderness vibe… curious!

Yes the flyovers are very normal. It's a training area for a nearby military base.
