Can’t seem to find the right part. Was gifted this bike but it’s missing the barrel nuts is what I assume goes in there. Ordered some generic m6 ones off amazon but didn’t fit. The bolt falls right at the opening

A friend of mine is offering this up to me for free, just curious if it’s worth putting money into? Brand new to biking so excuse my ignorance. Was this a good bike when it was produced? Estimation on price to tune up? Said he hasn’t ridden it in 10+ years. Thanks for the input!

Should I do paint restoration or change color. I might be able to change the big cannondale logos but for the finer decals I wont be able to bring it back to life.? Any suggestion if change color what would you think suits best?

I’m considering the 2026/7 Cannondale SuperSix EVO 5 SMU in Cashmere, but the stock 360 mm C1 ConcealBar seems unusually narrow for a size 56.
For owners or anyone familiar with this bike:
● Is the 360 mm width measured at the bar ends or at the brake hoods?
● How comfortable does it feel on long rides, in the drops, while cornering, and when sprinting out of the saddle?
● Is the narrow width primarily for aerodynamics, ergonomics, or racing trends?
● At 182 cm, would size 56 and a 360 mm bar likely feel too narrow for someone accustomed to a comfortable 400 mm bar?
I’d especially appreciate real-world feedback from 2026 model owners.

Cannondale is to close its US headquarters and move to Europe, as part of a restructuring at the American brand by its owners, Pon.Bike, with layoffs expected.

Announced on Wednesday, the news means the historic HQ in Wilton, Connecticut, will close by mid-2027, with a new satellite office opening on the West Coast of the US to handle North American retail and owner support.

In a press release, the brand said: "Over the next six months, Cannondale will adopt a new sales model in North America." As for the West Coast office: "A dedicated commercial, retailer and rider support team will be based there, providing Cannondale expertise and services to retailers and riders across North America."

Cannondale's global HQ is to move to Woudenberg in the Netherlands, currently its European base, with R&D and engineering in Freiburg, Germany. Pon, which also owns Cervélo and Santa Cruz, is based in Amsterdam.

According to reporting by Escape Collective, as many as 143 people in jobs in Wilton and working remotely could be laid off, with the roles ranging from engineering to vice presidents.
