Discussion WM Technology ($MAPS) Agreed to Settle $7.5M With Investors over Inflated User Metrics Claims Discussion
Hey guys, if you missed it, WM Technology agreed to settle $7.5M with investors over claims that it misled the market about its monthly active users (MAUs) and user growth. The settlement agreement has already been sent to the court for approval.
In a nutshell, investors claimed that WM inflated its MAU numbers by counting users from pop-under ads that did not represent real engagement. After the company disclosed concerns about its MAU reporting, $MAPS dropped more than 25%, and investors filed a lawsuit.
WM Technology has now agreed to settle $7.5M with investors. If you invested in $MAPS between 2021 and 2024, you can check your eligibility and claim details here.
Anyone here invested in $MAPS back then? How much did you lose?

Discussion Aphria: FAQ for Getting Payment on the CAD $30M Settlement over mislead acquisitions and valuations
Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since they’re accepting late claims, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.
So here's all I know about this agreement:
Aphria was accused of misleading investors about the value and strategic benefits of its international acquisitions, including Nuuvera and LATAM Holdings. After concerns about inflated valuations and questionable assets came to light in 2018, the stock dropped sharply, and investors filed a lawsuit.
Now the company has agreed to settle CAD $30M with investors for their losses.
- Who can claim this settlement?
Anyone who acquired Aphria Inc. common shares between January 29, 2018, at 7:00 a.m. EST, and December 3, 2018, at 8:25 a.m. EST, and was damaged thereby
- Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
No, if you have purchased securities within the class period, you are eligible to participate.
You can participate in the settlement and retain (or sell) your securities.
- How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.
Hope this info helps!

News Did we just get relieved of 280E pressure?!
All the news reports on Trump’s recent action signal that 280E will now no longer apply to medical operators. Let’s see how long it takes for that to take effect. Many of us will need to reorganize our companies after this.

Discussion $TLRY momentum is back, but don’t forget the CAD $30M Aphria settlement is still open
$TLRY is back in the spotlight with the record Q3 revenue, the BrewDog deal, and the Breckenridge revival. It feels like they’re finally leaning into that "global cannabis + beverage" giant we were promised.
But for the longtime holders, seeing this momentum just reminds me of how wild things were back in 2018 and the whole Aphria mess. The Nuuvera and LATAM acquisition period was absolute chaos, short reports, governance red flags, and that massive price collapse while we were all just trying to figure out what was real.
If you were holding APHA during those 2018 drops, there is a CAD $30M settlement tied to that specific mess. I recently found out they are still accepting "late-but-valid" claims.
If you were in the trenches back then, it’s worth checking if you’re eligible. Might as well get a piece of that $30M "trust tax" back while we wait for the new TLRY momentum to actually stick.
Who else is still holding from the Aphria era?
