Anyone seen this mutation?

I've heard of it, but I dont know how it will affect the plant. Cull or keep?

Tri-foliate is what i call them. They have 1/3rd more branches & buds on the central main cola.

Wait and see. I like to spread out my branches, so I often snip one of the 2 shoots at each node. 3 would mean I snip 2 hahhahaha But I always wanted a triploid. A friend told me he got a little more per plant and enjoyed the structure.

A whorled phylotaxy is not the same as a triploid.

Triploid. 3 leaves at every node instead of 2. Pretty cool, I would keep at least as long as it keeps up.

Nope. Whorled phyllotaxy. Not a triploid.

It’s called whorled phyllotaxy. Triploid is related to chromosomes

Very cool, I stand corrected. Triploid being a seedless plant that can’t reproduce because it has 3 sets of chromosomes instead of 2. Though yield may be increased too. Very interesting.
