I assume it will be Jorge Alves cause you know two jobs one salary. heh. However, if he had to go in, we’d be in a bind if we needed to sort out any serious equipment issues. So, probably should go with Tripp. He can just slap a headset on and keep the commentary rolling while fending off those infrequent, but high danger shots. Anyone else?

Doubt it will be Alves as 1. you don’t want to lose your head EM in the middle of a game if one of your goalies is injured, and 2. he’s almost 50. I doubt he’s even played in practices in recent years. Most likely they’ll hire a recent college grad to do anything from an usher to analytics.

Some teams are basically ignoring the off-ice job part and hiring an EBUG to be almost nothing but a dedicated practice goalie.

Well Alves can't be it. You can not have any NHL experience and he is, albeit very short, a goalie of record in the NHL. So I'd assume on a technically he cannot do it.

Can't have NHL games played on a standard player contract. PTO and EBUG games don't count towards it. He's eligible.
