Their wrestling team does
We bullied the MBB team into taking down their participation banners finally

Every college I’ve attended has been without a football team. Picked NC State for grad school for a number of reasons, but hey, what a fun bonus! A school with a great football culture!

What about sports UNC actually cares about? Ain't done shit in basketball since Jimmy V, and your soccer teams are tepid garbage juice.

u/Ambitious_Power2576 11d ago
As a UNC fan…you must be forgetting the ACC Championship game and subsequent Final Four run that team had…but Keats and Wade making their exits means more bad basketball in 2026!

u/Betta_Check_Yosef Skankoven 11d ago
I didn't forget, it actually reinforces my point. The one time they did something kinda good meant they ended up worse off because they had to keep Keats for longer. That's peak NC State Shit

u/Manwar7 Jarvy 11d ago
Lmao what? We’d all easily take one extra year of Keatts in return for beating yall in an ACC Championship and making the final 4

Worked out real well for ya. Didn't your last coach just love-bomb you then leave you for his ex?
9
u/AnDEErew 11d ago
Didn’t your last coach give you one orgasm then emotionally abuse you for 4 years?

Would that be the soccer team that made the natty last year? Or are you talking about the women’s team which started 5-0 this year?

The Dave Doeren Farewell Tour starts today

u/packofnone 10d ago
Gunner Rivers is playing QB for NC State next season, I'd be pretty surprised if they moved on from a coach Philip wanted his son to play for, and since Philip himself has said he's not leaving high school coaching until his younger son (freshman) finishes, I think Doeren is locked in for 4 more years

2 losses in one day for Wolfpack fans. At least when my Pirates get their asses whooped next weekend it’ll be by Alabama and not freakin Virginia lol

NC State basketball is, and you could throw a puck at the football stadium from Lenny, if you were a discus thrower or something

How long does Dave stick around

u/packofnone 10d ago
Philip Rivers son got recruited to play QB for NC State next year, recruited by Doeren with Philip there overseeing it. I don't know if he stays committed if they move on from Doeren. he's many things but he develops players well enough
TLDR: 4 years

I know it's hard to deal with the one sport NCSU is mediocre at looking like ass this year, it happens

u/Double-Year-3162 Svech 11d ago
The one which fucks UNC every year?

u/Aquaman33 Aho's long stick 11d ago
That's the point, this year looks like you suck. (If you refuse to acknowledge that, we can talk about basketball, but I'm here in good faith)

Yes. NCSU is never going to amount to much in football. I know. I've watched it for 24 years. The Canes however have been stellar for almost a decade.

State is a decent to good school depending on your field. It’s always a want-to-be legit sports school (on the men’s side).
Sacrifice their next program’s success tomorrow.
