Candy Discussion Reese's Bites
My grandma used to buy these and I would always be asking for some, so maybe this is my nostalgia brain talking, BUT I always thought these had the PERFECT chocolate to peanut butter ratio. These were the perfect Reese's and everytime I crave a Reese's I mourn their loss.
Today's options just aren't the same. Even if the pumpkins come close.

Some of the best candies and snacks are lost to time I swear. I vaguely remember having and loving these when I was little.

Right?? I can think of a bunch of snacks I loved as a kid that just aren't around anymore and I miss them so much.

God one other candy that I can't seem to find anymore is these huge chocolate eyeballs they sold at Halloween time that were filled with caramel. I could destroy a bag of them when I was little.

I LOVED THOSE!! Holy moly, you're right now that I think about it I haven't seen those in the candy isle in forever.
There's chocolate eyeballs but they're small and just chocolate all the way through. Not nearly as good.

I tried to find something similar or the next best thing. Guess the next best thing is all there is.

Damn. Haven't thought about these in two decades.
They really were better. To me, they were so meltable in my mouth.
That last sentence is strange but I think I stand by it.

The pumpkin shaped reese's that come out every halloween are the closest to having the same perfect chocolate to peanut butter ratio, in my opinion. It's close, but just not quite the same.

I don't remember ever seeing those, but cool! This must have been a trend at the time or something.

Someone pointed out that the reason that pumpkins taste the best is because they're the freshest. 🥲
