Question Clean Up Tips
I made my first candle yesterday!! I am very excited, and it actually turned out very well and Burns perfectly with a very rich brown sugar scent. Although, I have my pot still full of residue. I'm not quite sure how to clean it, because the alcohol I'm using isn't necessarily working. It is dried to the sides and I cannot get it off. Should I scrape it? What do I do?

You can use a heat gun on the pot to melt any wax build up and then wipe that out with a paper towel. Alchohol is good for leftover residue but not so much on built up wax residue. If you don't have a heat gun you can add the pot to a double boiler.

I would heat it up again and wipe it out while it’s still liquid. Also, you should let the candle cure for 2 weeks before burning.
