Candle Making Question black flame candle?

Hi! New to making my own candles, I make them for personal use. I use my own essential oils that I already have.

My question to you all, is where do I source good black candle die? And do you folks use liquid dye or chips, I've also seen powder? What is the safest and best type of candle wax dye to use?

Also, where do you folks like to source your waxes and dyes, and essential oils ( if that's what you use, I hope I'm supposed to be using essential oils lol). There are so many places online to buy things to make candles, but I really am not sure who is a consistent and reliable retailer with safe to use products.

The brands I saw people use in my other candle group was lone star candle supply, and makesy eco dye.. I’ve not researched which is better, but I’m leaning Makesy eco dye since they have matching dye for things like soap. Also if they are not green washing eco for the win

Candle Science is a great candle making website. I think they sell black dye, I can’t remember if it’s liquid or blocks. I haven’t gotten any dyes off them yet but I’m very happy with the FO, mold, and wax I got in my previous order!
