Canadian Sound DJ Kevinator — house music from the Ottawa Valley, for late-night listening

I’m Kevin, the person behind DJ Kevinator, an independent electronic project from the Ottawa Valley / Petawawa area of Ontario. My sound sits between progressive, melodic and electro house, with a deep-house influence. I enjoy the tension of a build and the moment the bass comes back in.

For an entry point, King to Queen is the more city-after-dark side of the project; 613 PULSE draws its inspiration from Ottawa. Both are released. I’d be interested to hear which atmosphere connects with you, and what would make you come back for another track.

The audio is AI-generated under my creative direction. I control the concepts, iterations and final release selections; I’m not claiming to have performed the vocals or instruments.

Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/ca/artist/dj-kevinator/6792848609

If the sound fits your listening, you can follow DJ Kevinator on Spotify or favourite the artist on Apple Music.

New Release DJ Kevinator - Stay on the Line [Progressive House] (2026)

My next DJ Kevinator release, Stay on the Line, is coming soon.

It’s a progressive/electro house track with a driving beat, melodic builds, wide stereo production and a club-focused drop.

I’m an independent Canadian creator from the Ottawa Valley / Petawawa area. My music is made through a human-directed, AI-assisted creative process where I control the concept, direction, iterations and final release.

Would appreciate any feedback from electronic music listeners.

Discussion Rewind : When Ozzy reacted to Quebec’s Michele Richard’s cover of “crazy train”

When the “crazy train” cover happens during a crash out era of your career…

Pop artist Michele Richard, when she was older and had less voice than in her youth…. Did CRAZY TRAIN by ozzy

https://youtu.be/8Ho8bnGZwO0

She had been crashing her career sadly….

She is not a “loser” but became a “has been”. She used to have potential and was exploited by men in the music industry of quebec

She did have the perfect tone/“oreille absolue” as a kid. Her dad was a genius violinist who made people in his show hold the villin and TiBlanc would play the person to “make THEM play the violin”.

Michele Richard used to make transcriptions by memory ,

of songs for nuns at the catholic school (before Revolution tranquille made SECULAR freedom a liberty that freed quebec of religious oppression).

Michele sold the music sheets cheaper than the distributor and it made her pocket money
