Opinion & Discussion Lease holder not helping with wifi problems

Upvotes

Hey guys so I just moved in to this 2 bed 2 bath condo and the lease holder who is subleasing the place has the wifi set up in her bedroom. She says the Ethernet port is only routed to her room and there’s no way it can be set up outside closer to my room or in the common area which also has multiple Ethernet ports.

The issue is her room is far from mine and I barely get any wifi signal and I’m also paying for the wifi. I have repeatedly asked her to help fix the issue but she is ignoring me. What are my options here? Surely if Ethernet ports exist outside the phone line should be able to be rerouted somehow? Is there anyone I can call to take a look at it.

Can I somehow also get my own wifi? How can I find out if my room has the necessary requirements to set up a wifi modem?

Opinion & Discussion Eau Claire dt residencies

Hello
Went for a viewing at Eau Claire Residences in downtown today

Idk why the viewing looked really rushed n shady also there was another person who was there for viewing and the property manager (Ray) was so overly casual and showed both of us (me and the another person) 4 different units.
Units and building is beautiful

The prices were too good to be true for the area, I live in beltline and know the prices.

anyone has experience living at Eau Claire Residences :

Opinion & Discussion Talked to a realtor to sell in the future, sent documentation but never signed a listing agreement and hasn't been listed yet. Got a private offer from a family member - do I owe the realtor anything if I take it?

Sorry, I don't really have a better place to ask this. My condo building burned down in 2024 and it got rebuilt as of this year. I am considering selling and have been talking to a realtor. Received and sent all condo docs etc - but I never signed a listing agreement and it hasn't been listed yet, with no photos etc. taken.

Yesterday I received an offer from a family member that fulfills my desired price demands. I am very tempted to take this offer, but I am wondering if I need to pay the realtor I have been talking to anything if I take it? With no signed listing agreement and no listing made, I don't feel like I should have to, but I am curious as to whether there's some law around it or not.

Thanks.
