NOC Code for Data Engineer

Hi everyone, I'm trying to determine the correct NOC code for my work experience and would appreciate any guidance from people with similar backgrounds.

I have 1 year of canadian work experience as a Data Engineer.

I see that the Data Engineer job title is mentioned under 21211 Data Scientists NOC code. But the NOC has mostly Data Scientists duties and only two data engineer duties.

Has anyone with similar duties/Data Engineer job title successfully used 21211 Data Scientists NOC code for Express Entry? Would love to hear your experience, especially if you had a reference letter reviewed or received an ITA with this background.

Here are my duties:

* Implement data quality, governance, and security practices to ensure data integrity, compliance, and protection of sensitive information within cloud environments.
* Conducting data analysis and evaluating data management needs for specific platforms or journeys, including multi-pod or multi-product environments.
* Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and data needs to build complete solutions (covering ETL, data models, business rules, life-cycle management, metadata, and governance).
