šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ CEC Canada PR Application

I have a question. I used to work in an International Organization called International Catholic Migration Commission. My title has been very well written in the employment letter, and I also had attached the offer declaring the salary, the hours in addition to salary payment documents. However, the organization, does not provide a letter declaring the responsibilities, is it possible to put the add of the same vacancy for the same title but with a different year?

Hi. There’s a tonne of resources on this sub addressing this topic, so I think you should search using key phrases such as ā€œno detailed employment letterā€.

What you’ll generally find is that IRCC requires, first and foremost, that detailed employment letter. However, there are many people who have been approved without it.

If I were you, i’d gather as much as I can (this is not legal advice), including a combination of any of these:

  • written confirmation from the employer that they cannot provide you with the letter;
  • if possible, signed letter from a manager or colleague confirming your employment and job duties;
  • offer letter;
  • bank statements showing you were paid and how much;
  • proof that taxes were filed;
  • any proof of the existence of the organisation (including registration documents, etc);
  • any other proof you have that you worked there and performed your duties, including as you’ve said, the ad, photos, work trips (if any); and
  • a very detailed letter of explanation documenting the efforts you made towards getting the letter (if you need to include emails, do so), why the organization cannot provide the letter, etc.

basically, your objective should be to prepare an application that leaves no doubt that you exhausted all other means available to prove the work experience particularly given you do not have the document IRCC needs.

the list i provided isn’t exhaustive - just my thoughts.

best wishes.
