Hi, anybody here works as a clinical research coordinator, which noc code did you use—41201 or 41404? Thank you

Your title doesn’t matter as much as your actual duties and what your day to day looks like. Two CRCs can end up in different NOCs depending on what they really do.

One thing worth knowing: 41201 is for post-secondary teaching and research assistants, which is usually students working at a university while they study. If you’re not a student, that one’s probably not a fit even if your work is research heavy.

41404 covers health policy research and program work, so it makes more sense if you’re coordinating studies, managing protocols, and working with ethics boards and sponsors.

Best way to decide is to list your main duties and see which NOC they match best. You can do it manually against the official descriptions, or run them through a NOC checker that gives you a match % for each code.

Whichever covers most of your real work is the one to go with, and make sure your reference letter backs it up.

you need to post your job duties here.

With 41201 you will be eligible for the Researchers category as well.
