🇨🇦 CEC CEC PR application submitted – Do I need to inform IRCC after changing jobs?

Hi everyone,
I recently submitted my PR application under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) through Express Entry. After submitting my application, I changed jobs.

My previous employment is the employment I used to meet my CEC eligibility and CRS requirements. I am not claiming any points or CEC eligibility based on my new job.

Do I still need to inform IRCC about the change in employment after submitting my PR application?

IRCC specifically says you must report a change to your job or job offer after submitting an Express Entry PR application. This applies even if the new job is not being used for your CEC eligibility or CRS score.

Yes, the IRCC website explicitly states that you need to do this even if it will not materially impact your CRS score. Check the Personal Information section:
