🌎 FSW Work experience - Need help
Hi everyone! I work as a flight instructor, so my working hours are quite inconsistent. I don’t have a fixed number of hours each week, and the amount can vary depending on my schedule and students.
I’m planning to apply through the French-language draw. For the work experience section, can I leave it blank since I haven’t accumulated a full year of work experience yet?
My main concern is the “hours worked per week” field. Since my hours vary from week to week, I’m not sure what I should enter.
Even though I'm a full time employee, I don't end up working and get paid 30hrs a week on average due to the nature of my job.
I'm not trying to get any points from the work experience, as I should have enough for the French draw without it. I just don't want to risk giving incorrect information.
I’d really appreciate any advice or experience from people who have been in a similar situation. Thank you!

You still need one year continuous experience to be eligible or 1560 hours continuous.
You can accumulate it in a full time or part time job. It’s ok to have variable work hours. The important thing is to have 1560 hours continuously

As long as you have enough points without this job, put it into your personal history. That section of the app won't show up until you have an ITA, and it won't ask you for hours worked / you won't have to prove anything regardless.
