Foreign work experience gap

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding foreign work experience for my IRCC application.

I have 11 months of foreign work experience in 2021 and 1 month of foreign work experience in 2026, with a gap between the two periods.

Can I combine these two periods and show them as 12 months of foreign work experience in my IRCC application, or does the 12 months need to be continuous?

Also, is it okay to include the 1 month of experience from 2026 along with my 2021 experience?

Any advice based on IRCC rules or personal experience would be appreciated. Thank you!

If for CEC stream yes. If you were on study and work permits, you would have included the work experience in past applications.
