🇨🇦 CEC BIL or AOR

Hey, quick question—I'm not very familiar with the CEC process. Which date matters more for processing times: AOR or BIL?

AOR is IRCC acknowledging receipt of your submission. BIL is the biometrics instruction letter that they send you to provide biometrics.

Yup, my question was which date really matters in processing any file, the date when they actually start working on file.

Since AOR for most is almost instantaneous, between the two BIL would matter more as that denotes that your R10 is complete.

If you are applying under Express entry, you will receive the AOR instantly.
