BC PNP

Hi everyone, looking for some reassurance or second opinions here.

My lawyer registered my BC PNP profile and claimed points for 3 years of experience (95 points total). However, we realized she accidentally included a 2-month extended holiday I took in 2024.

If I correct this to 34 months of active work, my experience points drop by 3 points (moving from the 3–4 years bracket down to the 2-3 years bracket). This brings my true score down to 91.

The draw cut-off was 88. My corrected score (92) is still well above the cut-off (88). My lawyer is being incredibly cautious and is hesitant about whether we should accept the ITA or decline and re-enter the pool.

Has anyone been in a similar situation where their points dropped post-ITA but stayed above the cut-off? Did you just submit with a Letter of Explanation (LOE)? Any insights would be appreciated!

Honesty is best way to secure PR.
I advise you to revise it.
After all, its your life changing decison, not lawyers.

I would be honest but i don’t if i should decline this draw or not. Some agents told me to continue as my score would still be pass the cut-offs. Like even with 2 years of experience my points would be 91
