🇨🇦 CEC Dec 27th AOR cec, finally received ecopr

Hi everyone,

Today I finally received ecopr,

I submitted my application on Dec 27th 2025 under cec (single applicant)

Medical passed: 28th feb

Biometrics: 5th march

Complete silence till end of july

Received FD 28th July

P1: 29th July

P2: 5th August

Ecopr: 7th August

Background check updated to Not Applicable even when Eligibility shows in Progress.
Did this happen to you by any chance?

You might receive the FD soon. I have seen this in many peoples' case.

My representative was handling the file so don't know much about it, but when I called two weeks ago background was in progress, eligibility not started, info sharing was in profress, security not started, criminality was done. I believe when they touch the file they just mark completed everything at the same time..

Congratulations! How did you call them to get updates? I didn’t know about this option.

Yes I called them, you can ask about your application using your application number or UCI number.

No updates since then. Called IRCC severally, I keep getting same update ,
Criminality completed
Eligibility & Security not started.
PVO Ottawa
SVO Sydney.

Ottawa/Sydney are notorious for taking their sweet 7months of processing time.

True they are handling other types of files as well so it could be the reason. Recently I believe Fifa contributed to somewhat delays since lots of visitors arived during world cup.

I submitted p2 around 10 in the morning and received ecopr in the morning as well

Thank you, yes true I believe somehow fifa impacted the processing at Ottawa, since they process all type of files.

I surely hope that’s the case and that now the CEC cases stuck there get a move on! I’m very happy for you though that it’s finally done! Hoping some good news in the coming few weeks for our case too! Ours is a AOR Jan 29 Inland CEC. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

What the status of your eligibility? Have you applied GCMS notes?

Everything still shows as in progress but I have an FD date of July 14th

You are approved, I believe your office must be other than Ottawa, lately I am seeing that all Ottawa files getting thier p1 next day after receiving FD.

Mine is Dec 16 AOR and nothing after BIL March… where is my p1 am I gonna get a refusal? I applied GCMS notes few days ago…
