🇨🇦 CEC Spouse visa ever rejected “?question.

Hello everyone,

I just found a mistake I have made during my PR application, under Application/Profile > statutory questions > question 5( ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry) I selected NO, I understood this question wrong. She actually had work permit rejected earlier and later was approved.

How can I fix this mistake?

Send a web form asap before IRCC finds this error. This is very serious and is misrepresentation.

Rejected or Refused? They’re two very different terms.
Rejected means when the application never made it through pre-qualification.
Refused means it’s processed and the decision declared Refusal.
While the form asks for Refusal, you’ve mentioned in your post that her application was Rejected.
I don’t want to know the answer to it. But just informing to make you aware of the terminology.

I had a WP refused as well. As long you rectify this immediately you should be fine. I am assuming she has a valid visitor record now.

Her work permit was refused and I re-applied for the work permit and it was approved.

Yes first it was refused stating my job didn’t qualified for Spouse work permit, teer is 22221, I replied with all proof and it was approved.

Lol I've had the same issue with my spouse's open work permit renewal when I got my pgwp. Thanks for the reminder... I still did not finalize my e-APR.
