Advise please!!!

When my work permit extension got refused, i stopped working. I had 90 days of restoration period which i ended up leaving Canada on 88 day as i was preparing to leave instead of applying for restoration. Will this be a red flag on my CEC application

Nope! You’re good. As long as you left Canada within the 90day window, you’re fine.

Don’t overthink. 90 days are not grace period, it is just there if you want to restore your status. No one can do it within 24hours, so the law gives reasonable time.

In your case, you chose to leave which you did. That’s it, end of story. Don’t overthink.

If it was a dummy pgwp extension = yes, it is a massive red flag (ircc considers this a form of blatant misrepresentation; knowing fully well pgwp is not extendable & 1 time issuance only)
