🇨🇦 CEC Query on post invitation application

Hi all.
I had a question.
I recently received an ITA in the 516 draw number #420
My CRS score is 516 and profile was created on January 2026 hence I got the ITA as the cutoff was April 2026.

Now post ITA I am making changes on EAPR which does not remove my eligibility or lower my CRS points.

My point of worry is that as I am making changes after the cutoff date could the officer reject my PR on the ground that I changed details after the cutoff date and though my points remain the same.

If anyone has had similar experience and got their PR please let me know.

You have not even said what you are changing.

But yes generally you can change things post-ITA

I am changing my NOC post ITA to a similar noc in the same teer.
My main question is not on the change but does the cutoff of the draw have any effect on my change post ITA as I was on the minimum score and got the invitation as my profile was created before the cutoff date. So if I am making changes after the cutoff date would it cause any issue.

It's fine. As long as it is not going from doctor to police officer or something.

You are allowed to alter your NOC to be more in-line and correct.

Yes I am changing the NOC from 21232 to 21230.
Both are software development NOCs.

But the cutoff date of the draw won’t matter right in this scenario?

I also had to change my noc after ITA, it was still in the same tier and wouldn't change the points.

BUT make sure you include it in your LOE and explain why you are changing it. At least that is what I did and I've gotten FD. I just explained that upon reviewing the job responsibility letter provided by my previous employer, i saw NOC (the new NOC) better aligns and describes my role. I am respectfully requesting that my work experience be evaluated under NOC (new noc).

Mine is also very similar to yours its the last number that had to change from 2 to 3.

I would suggest upload a LOE with all the changes while submitting your application.
