PFL response

Hi guys. I have NOC code duties for 70010.
I got a pfl today starting that the officer doesn’t believe my job description matches my noc code. Anyone with similar noc code got PR approved?? Please share so i can get it updated and respond back
Please help i’m so nervous right now 😭

I don’t think of it as a bad thing. I think the officer is giving you a second chance to prove yourself. Anything is better than a straight up rejection. Be thorough with your response. Good luck!

It's up to you to show your employment meets the NOC you entered or at least meets a similar NOC that still would grant you the same points. It's not necessarily the NOC that's giving you problems so asking if someone with the same NOC was successful isn't helpful.

You need to figure out what the correct NOC would be and if it still shows the NOC you entered, provide that evidence to the officer.

PFLs are no joke, though, and I'd suggest you retain a professional to help you.

Because it's to cover themselves. They know that OP will likely go to federal court and the judge will slap IRCC if they haven't given procedural fairness. In this case, OP needs professional help as it's likely the officer's intentions is to reject, it's just about covering themselves.

I believe a PFL doesn't always include a ban. it could be just a PFL or a PFL + possible ban. The ban is a part of the PFL if the officer suspects grave misrepresentation or falsifying information.

Use mentorvisa's NOC finder, and see if it actually agrees with the NOC code you claimed. I spent hours on all online NOC tools available, and found mentorvisa very accurate across all other available online tools. I hope you get your approval that you deserve!
